Why Mission Australia Matters
Founded on a Christian ethos in 1996, Mission Australia has deep roots stretching back to 1862, uniting multiple city missions into the country’s foremost community services provider. Today, they stand alongside people experiencing homelessness, disadvantage, and other significant challenges, driven by a vision of an Australia where everyone can flourish.

Homelessness Services: Funding outreach programs that assisted over 23,441 people through 82 dedicated homelessness services in 2024 Mission Australia.

Affordable Housing: Supporting the creation and maintenance of social and affordable homes—Mission Australia Housing managed more than 4,550 homes across five states and territories last year Mission Australia.

Youth & Community Programs: Empowering disadvantaged children, families, and young people through education, counselling, and life‑skills workshops.
